Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published Advertisement for the SSC GD constable recruitment 2018: 54, 953 vacancies. More details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process, application fee and how to apply are given below.

• General duty (GD) in Border Security Force (BSF)
• Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
• Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
• Indo-Tibetan Border Force (ITBP) Sahastra Seema Bal (SSB)
• National Investigation Agency (NIA)
• Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and rifleman (GD) in Assam rifles.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of Computer Based Test (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination.

The application process starts on July 21 and the last date for receipt of application is August 20. 

Pay scale: Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100.

Eligibility: Candidate must be citizen of India and as the vacancies are state/UT wise, they must submit domicle/PRC against his her state/UT.

Age: The candidate must be between 18-23 years of age as on August 1, 2018. There is relaxation of age for SC, ST, OBC, ex-servicemen and some other category candidates.

 Educational qualification as on August 1, 2018: Matriculation or Class 10 pass from recognised university or board.
